Catechism & Pre-Confession Classes

Catechism classes have been organised by consistory to instruct the youth in the doctrine of the church. From grade seven (7) youth are expected to attend these classes for instruction and if they wish to make their profession of faith. Catechism classes are being taught using the three confessions: the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession and the Canons of Dort, as you can find recorded in the back of the Book of Praise.

Catechism classes are a pre-requisite for youth wishing to attend pre-confession classes. To attend pre-confession classes, students should notify the minister or their ward elders.

Class times:

Year 7 and 8 Wednesday at the John Calvin Christian College 8:40 – 9:40 am

Year 9 and 10 Wednesday at the JCCC 9:40 -10:40 am

Year 11 and older Wednesday at the Church 8:00 – 9:00 pm

Pre-Confession Wednesday at the Church 7:00 – 8:00 pm
